CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME
Due to the generous support of the American Embassy in Budapest, this year, our Association is able to offer scholarships to support fellow professionals’ development in the post-pandemic era.
When you register for the conference, you can apply for accommodation subsidy (2 nights with breakfast and dinner in Hotel Sungarden****) in the following categories:
- first-time attendees
- first-time speakers
- teacher trainers
- returning speakers (members only)
- primary education (members only)
- secondary education (members only)
- higher education (members only)
- private education (members only)
- Ukrainian professionals
To be considered, you need to have paid the early-bird registration fee (HUF 8,000 = EUR 20) by 31 July 2022, and write an essay between 300 and 400 words in which you explain how you will benefit from attending the conference and how you can disseminate what you have learnt (via a workshop, article, report, blog, vlog, etc.) – with proof upon completion – and promote IATEFL-Hungary in your context.
Speakers also need to have an accepted proposal for a workshop/talk.
The deadline for submission is 11.59 PM (Budapest time) on Sunday 31 July 2022. You will be notified about the result of your application by Sunday 28 August 2022.
