J\u00e1nos Ujlaki is an English and Mathematics teacher with over 15 years of experience. He is a lecturer and teacher trainer at the University of Pannonia and a PhD candidate at ELTE. His current research interests are using technology and AI in education. He is the current president of TESOL-Hungary, an ELT consultant, and regularly presents internationally at ELT conferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

N\u00f3ra Tak\u00e1cs is a practising EFL teacher with nearly a decade of experience. She teaches at Sage, Budapest\u2014a language school she considers her happy place due to its inspiring methodologies and teaching staff. She works with diverse age groups and is dedicated to creating inclusive and engaging learning experiences. N\u00f3ra is a PhD candidate at ELTE, where she also works with teacher trainees. As a TESOL-Hungary committee member, she contributes to organizing the association\u2019s events and designs content for its social media, helping to maintain its image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bogl\u00e1rka Spissich<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bogl\u00e1rka Spissich is a PhD candidate at E\u00f6tv\u00f6s Lor\u00e1nd University in the Language Pedagogy and English Applied Linguistics program. Her main research interest is EFL learning and teaching with the help of films and social media, focusing on the use of well-known applications. As the vice-president of TESOL-Hungary, she takes part in organising events for EFL teachers and regularly participates in conferences. She is currently involved in teacher training and teaching at various language schools, catering to different age groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c1d\u00e1m Palasics is a practising EFL and ICT teacher who started teaching a year ago. He started as a volunteer who participated in many projects of our community then he was elected to the committee in 2024. His organization skills and IT knowledge helped offline events and partners alike. As a TESOL-Hungary member he edits the official website and the whole committee with every day duties. You should look for him whenever you encounter technical difficulties!

Barbara K. Horv\u00e1th<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara K. Horv\u00e1th is an EFL teacher with more than 20 years experience. She received her BA degree as a teacher of English Language and Literature and a Communication Specialist.  She got a postgraduate degree in Assessment of Reading Comprehension at the University of Szeged and then completed her MA at the University of Pannonia. She finished her PhD studies in the English Language Pedagogy Program at E\u00f6tv\u00f6s Lor\u00e1nd University and now a part-time language teacher at the Department of English Language Pedagogy. Her research interest focuses on cultural and multicultural issues, such as diversity, segregation, integration, inclusion and experiential pedagogy in ELT. She is an alumna of the International Visitor Leadership Program of the US Embassy and the grant coordinator of TESOL-Hungary.

Kata Moln\u00e1r<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kata Moln\u00e1r is an English and Hungarian teacher trainee at the University of Pannonia, preparing to teach in primary and secondary schools. Parallel to her studies, she teaches 6th and 8th graders in Szentkir\u00e1lyszabadja, where her goal is to create a learning environment that is not only educational but also fun and engaging. Creativity is at the heart of her teaching, and she loves finding new ways to make lessons enjoyable for her students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her journey with TESOL-Hungary began over three years ago, first as a dedicated volunteer and, for the past year, as a committee member. During this time, she has participated in organising conferences, managing social media platforms, and producing creative content like summary videos to showcase the association\u2019s events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anita Majorszki<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anita Majorszki is a teacher trainee at E\u00f6tv\u00f6s Lor\u00e1nd University, specialising in English and Chemistry. Alongside her studies, she teaches primary and secondary school students, as well as adult learners at a language school in Budapest. She started as a volunteer at TESOL-Hungary conferences and now contributes actively to event organisation.
